Online Web Intern: Basic duties and responsibilities include developing and maintaining radio station websites. Prepare necessary graphics/files for website. Assist station personnel to create timely content and maintain various elements on website. Work closely with the Sales Department to create and traffic client banner ads. Required skills are Adobe Photoshop, Basic HTML skills, proficiency with HTML editor (such as Dreamweaver), video editing/creation software such as Adobe Premiere. Familiarity with social networking (i.e. Myspace) and viral media sites (i.e. YouTube). Self motivator must be willing to work flexible hours as needed and have strong interest in captivating our radio audience online. Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Basic knowledge of DART desired.

Promotions Assistant: Get a look at how the entire radio business works! As a promotion intern students will be able to assist with station events for 3 radio stations in Chattanooga. Promotions interns are not limited to the promotions department and will have the option to shadow every department that makes a radio station function from sales to engineering. Promotions interns will assist with remote broadcasts, concerts, fundraisers, and other special events. Interns will also be able to see daily functions of the stations such as contesting, prizing, scheduling, marketing, and planning. Students interested in being a promotions intern should have a strong work ethic with an interest in media, communications, event planning, marketing, or the music industry.
