A man on a Delta flight allegedly told a mother to “shut her n-word baby up” because her crying kid was bothering him.

Then, he smacked the toddler across the face as the flight was landing in Atlanta.

The 60-year old was charged with assault and denied having either used the racial slur or hitting the child. He said he had consumed a single alcoholic drink on the flight and was distraught with news of a sick relative.

The man was sitting directly next to the woman and her baby, who said the crying was caused by the pressure change. The slap gave the toddler a cut under his eye.

The toddler's mom said the guy was drunk when he boarded the plane and he reeked of alcohol and had several drinks on the flight.

*** After the news came out, the guy found himself out of a job at AGC Aerospace and Defense.

The CEO of AGC said the behavior by one of its executives on a recent flight was "offensive and disturbing" and said he "is no longer employed with the company."
