A Harvard professor believes he can bring history back to life by creating a Neanderthal baby.

He plans to take DNA from an extinct, 33,000 year old Neanderthal remains and embed it in a human embryo - then, voila... a Neanderthal baby.

One problem? He needs an actual human woman to “carry” the experiment.

As the experiment is a type of cloning, it is questionable on whether or not it would be legally possible or ethical.

The professor thinks bringing a Neanderthal into the world would help us study their brains, which may be “smarter” than ours - many question how a Neanderthal would survive with our modern diseases.
