A Minnesota lawyer has been suspended indefinitely for billing a divorce client for time they spent having sex.
The 58-year-old lawyer (Thomas Lowe) is married. He had known the woman for many years before he became her attorney in 2011. They soon began an affair that lasted for several months, and he periodically billed her for legal services at the times they were having sex.
The man eventually ended the affair and told her that he would no longer be her attorney.
His was outted when the woman tried to kill herself and revealed the affair in the hospital.
