A two-year-old ‘dead’ Brazillian boy sat up in his coffin, at his own funeral, and asked for a glass of water.
Then he laid down again lifeless.
The family had taken him in for a severe case of pneumonia and he stopped breathing and was pronounced dead.
The hospital handed the dead child over to the devastated family in a plastic bag. They took the body home and held an all night wake with the boy laid out in a coffin.
About an hour before his funeral the boy sat up in his coffin and said: “Daddy, can I have some water?”
The family freaked out and the little boy laid back down again, lifeless. They took him back to the hospital where doctors confirmed he was indeed dead.
They ended up burying him later that day and now they’ve filed a complaint against his doctors.
